 At 7.30 o'clock last night, 16th April, the marriage of Ina Pearl Windus, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Barraclough, Cloncurry, to Frederick Walter Thomas, eldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. F. W. E. McDougall, Donors Hill, was solemnised in the Methodist Church, with Rev R. W. Morton officiating. Miss Gladsome Mackereth presided at the organ.

 The bride, who was given away by her father, made a charming picture in a ballerina length gown of French spotted net over taffeta, made with a sweetheart neckline, each side of which was trimmed with a tiny spray of blue flowers, extended shoulderline, tight fitting bodice, and a full gathered flared skirt. For a head dress, she chose a blue lace straw picture hat, with a pink rose trimming. Her elbow length mittens were of matching colour to her frock, and she carried a dainty bouquet of blue artificial flowers amid fern, tied with satin ribbon. A lovely blue and white rhinestone necklet with matching earrings completed the picture.

 The bride was attended by Miss Del Hambleton, as brides maid; and Miss Hilda Hudson, niece of the groom, as flower girl. The bridesmaid's ballerina length frock was of blue and pink tulle and taffeta. Narrow shoulder straps featured on the blue taffeta bodice over which she wore a matching bolero.
 Blue and pink tulle formed a rainbow effect in the very full skirt. She chose wrist length mittens, and wore as her hair adornment, a posy of pink flowers. The little flower-girl wore a street-length frock of blue, dimity and all-over lace, and a pretty straw bonnet. Each of the attendants carried a dainty bouquet of blue flowers tied with blue satin ribbon. As a gift from the groom, the bride received a lovely two-strand pearl necklace, while the bridesmaid was given a rhinestone necklet and earrings, and the flower girl, a dainty heart-shaped locket.
 Mr. Wallace McDonald, carried out the duties of best man. At the reception which was held in the Shire Hall, the bride's mother, who chose a blue figured linen frock trimmed with white and worn with matching accessories, received about sixty guests. Mr. Lex Ellwood was chairman for the occasion, during which telegrams addressed to the newlyweds were read, and the usual toasts honoured. The tables and decorations were attractively arranged in a blue and pink colour scheme to tone with the bridal attendants frocks, by Mrs. W. McDonald, assisted by Mrs.T. Purtill.

 A beautifully iced wedding cake which occupied the central position on the bridal table, was cut with due ceremony during the evening.
 The happy couple expect to leave by car to-morrow to spend their honeymoon at Charters Towers.
